Potatoes are favorite food product throughout the world! I grew up on the farm and it certainly was a basic food item for us at every meal. In fact until I went into the military, I never had one of the other basics, rice!
Some of the many ways to enjoy them:
Baked – Boiled – Steamed – Roasted – Mashed – Fried – Grilled – Scalloped – French Fries – Cottage Fries – Hash Browns – In Stew – In Soup – Potato Salad – Potato Dumplings – Potato Pancakes – Anyway You Like Them!!

Since the time potatoes were shipped from Europe to the colonies in the early 17th century, their consumption has been a major part of the North American diet. In the United States, there are over 100 varieties of potatoes. Worldwide, there are more than four thousand potato varieties.

Do you enjoy the potato? How many varieties have you had? Is there is a specific way you like them? I have had most of the ways that are shown above and enjoy them all

 So many great ways to enjoy potatoes I am missing being able to make the ones I used too. But I have found a place that makes Fully Loaded Baked Potatoes with meat, cheese and all the other things you want on a fully loaded baked potato, I hope you get to enjoy your favorites today..

 If you love potato soup, try this if you have the time. It's simple but, sometimes, simple is best.

Cut your potatoes into what ever size you want and place in a pot.

Add:
Milk

Add as much to your liking:
Salt
Pepper
Onion powder
Garlic
Butter

The long part is the cooking. Add heat and continue to stir until the milk boils down to the consistency you want.

When done, add your favorites.

Mine:
Onions/chives
Chedder cheese
Bacon
