Chipping away a stone to me refers to unzipping a dress at the back, sliding it to the floor, unhooking the bra, throwing it across the room, sliding the panties down as if they were sinking to the bottom like a stone. The naked body in the mirror shining like a calm lake on a sunny day, or the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.
