With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

So.........you remember that icy driveway I mentioned. Well despite shuffling down it like a 90 year old to get the mail I still fell on my ass. It was one of those instantaneous things, one moment your vertical the next your not. And not in that positive manner of moving from vertical to horizontal. Sigh, I want spring...or sex.

What was wet and slippery yesterday is hard as a rock today. The driveway makes a perfect ice rink...oh, wait...I can't skate. I'm sure someone is going to need a butt rub before too many more trips to the mailbox.

Last night better have been the final significant snow of the season. My snow blower was clearly signally that it is done and ready to be retired forever.
Can anyone recommend a snow blower that they think is best?

It has been ages since I posted. Ages for other things as well. I've been hitting the gym regularly but can't wait for bicycle season again.
I'm hoping to get out on the town next Saturday. Need to satisfy a bit of spring fever. Break the mold as it were. How about you?

There is such a range of what people find attractive and enticing. I know there are a special few that catch my eye.
Something accident prone. There was a great photo on this site awhile ago of a woman's hand just barely catching the bodice of her strapless black dress before it could fall. Nothing was shown that couldn't be seen day in day out on the street but it was so erotic.
Her in a man's dress white shirt and nothing else. It implies "the before" and "the after." It suggests familiarity and spontaneity. Again "nothing" might be showing but the potential energy is incredible. The movie "The American President" got this one right.
Blouse or shirt knotted at the waist. Again spontaneous and accident prone. Could be deliberate teasing or the girl next door being comfortable.
Single piece swimsuit. Many bikinis try too hard. Simply outlining the shape of her body in a single solid color kicks the imagination into high gear. What is underneath? What would it look like as it is peeled off.

Do you have any others? Are there particular looks for the guys as well?

I saw the handle "Take a Chance" and it put my mind in gear. I've followed a pretty tame and traditional pathway in my life. Most of that is good i.e. no psycho people to deal with, good health, safe and comfortable, etc. But I've forgotten some of the risky dreams.
In high school my best friend and I were diligently saving money. Not for college but to buy a sailboat and spend a few years sailing the South Pacific. No worries, working only when we needed the money. Not very practical seeing as neither of us had ever been on a sailboat but less on the ocean. We imagined getting tan and getting laid. We imagined not being our parents.
Well we both ended up going to college. We both ended up with master's degrees. We both ended up being "traditionally" successful. I haven't heard from him in decades. I wonder if he remembers any dreams? Do you?
