Open marriages, or the more generic open relations, are a term that has been a fringe idea that few have heard of. But in recent years, it has grown in popularity. But it is still a concept that few understand. To many outsiders, it is sin. To other it is infidelity. Most believe that is a formula for divorce. Others may ask how you can do that without jealousy being a damaging effect. And still more assume you are crazy for allowing you spouse to sleep with another person. Open marriage typically refers to a marriage in which the partners agree that each may engage in extramarital sexual relationships, without this being regarded as infidelity. So this group is for the discussion of Open marriages and Open marriages. It has two main goals. 1) A support group for those of us in open marriages. Yes it is nice to talk with others who have also made this change in their relationships. 2) The education of those curious about open marriages. There must however be rules here. This group is not for preaching. Not everyone is acceptable to the idea of open marriage. They have the right to their beliefs.
