[COLOR teal]I have realistic expectations regarding this site. I think most men here on AFF go through the same learning process. Most of us join this site thinking, "OK, there are thousands of hot, horny women here looking for sex." We set up our profiles and wait for the offers to flood our inboxes. We think, "Alright, the thousands of hot, horny women here haven't run to me with offers of sex, so I will contact ALL of them." Then we wait for the flood of acceptance letters that will surely arrive. Since most of the women here are not waiting by their computer hoping that some random guy propositions them, that usually doesn’t go as planned either. Because the stampede of hot, horny women hasn't materialized yet, the next step in the process is for us to get surgical. That means we actually start reading profiles. No, not reading for comprehension... Just reading enough to pick out a few key words and create a custom "Let's Fuck" email for each recipient. And since many of the guys here never progress out of stage one or two, the custom email can get some responses. However, the responses don't lead anywhere because the profile wasn't really read, and the woman is looking for something completely different. I have had the fortune of meeting some interesting women here, even with the imperal emails and overt rudeness of "Let's Fuck" propositions (I can describe stages one, two and three because I was there). I enjoy those relationships, even though most never lead to sex. I guess that means I have progressed to stage four. The details of stage four are still a little murky... Maybe I will be able to define it better at a later date. So far, it means that I read profiles (READ them) and try to limit my emails only to women who seem to be a match. It isn't as much fun as carpet bombing... I may only send one or two emails a day, but at least I am not overloading the servers anymore. I'm not sure if there is a stage five. If there is and if it follows the same trend, then stage five will either involve me joining a monastery or expanding my search out to a thousand mile radius searching for the one or two who happen to be looking for the same things I am.
